Donate Devices, Transform Lives
Repurpose your organization's retired devices to create digital opportunities for our community
Making Opportunity More Accessible
In today's rapidly evolving digital world, access to technology is access to opportunity. Yet, over 110,000 households in Franklin County lack access to a computing device beyond a smartphone.
This “digital divide” creates significant barriers to education, employment, healthcare, and civic engagement, disproportionately affecting our most vulnerable communities. The ConnectUS Device Donation Program offers a streamlined and secure solution for your organization to easily recycle unused devices and put them in the hands of community members in need.
Your organization’s retired technology holds immense potential.
Instead of becoming e-waste, these devices can be securely refurbished and given a new life, directly empowering students, job seekers, and families across Central Ohio.

Your Donation, Our Community

Chemical Abstract Service (CAS), a local employer specializing in scientific and chemical research, contributed retired laptops to the program. This donation resulted in 67 fully refurbished devices, which were distributed to Community Refugee & Immigration Services (CRIS).
ConnectUS’s device donation to CRIS put technology directly into the hands of high schoolers in their youth programs, with about two-thirds of the devices reaching motivated students. Three of those students are now thriving in college at Otterbein University, Denison University, and The Ohio State University. They recently shared that their higher education journeys simply wouldn’t have been possible without the reliable access that device provided.
Device donations help students access opportunity.
I Know I Can, a Columbus-based nonprofit college access organization, partnered with ConnectUS to connect Columbus Promise students with refurbished laptops and tablets through the Device Donation Program. Columbus Promise students earn a path to college — but not always the tools to get started.
