The curriculum is designed to meet you where you are, whether you’re a complete beginner or improving your computer skills.

The course, split over multiple days, is designed to adapt to your needs. Course sizes are kept small and include hands-on activities. You’ll get the attention you need from the instructor as you learn.

The Digital Skills Hub is a program by the Franklin County Digital Equity Coalition, backed by the City of Columbus and Franklin County.

Our goals are to:

  • Increase access to new devices for further learning
  • Foster independence and self-sufficiency online
  • Bridge the digital divide and advance digital inclusion
  • Enhance opportunities for personal and professional growth

Digital skills are essential life skills

The course is designed for everyone, regardless of age, background, or prior experience. If you qualify, you could receive a no-cost large-screen device after completing the full course!

Device Eligibility

To participate in the device program, you must meet the following requirements:

  1. Your income must be 200% below the poverty line.
  2. You must live in Franklin County.
  3. You must provide proof of income and residency.
  4. Only 1 person per household can participate, and you can only register for the device program once.
  5. You must complete all required hours of course work and fill out the device form.
